Protein Pasta Salad

During the summer you'll want to avoid turning on your oven and warming up your already hot house. This classic summer recipe will be a hit with all the family. Although the method is simplistic, the flavours certainly aren't! Get stuck in to this Pea Protein Pasta Salad.


  • 250g dried fusilli pasta
  • 1/2 cup olives
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 60g Feta cheese
  • 2 handfuls rocket leaves

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Nutristrength Unflavoured Pea Protein
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • 1 ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 squeezed lime
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt & pepper for seasoning


  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the instructions.
  • While the pasta cooks, make the sauce:
    • In a food processor, combine the protein powder, garlic, basil, spinach, lime juice, oil, avocado, and water and process until smooth, stopping to scrape down the bowl as needed.
    • If the sauce is too thick, add a bit more oil
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Drain the pasta
  • Add the cherry tomatoes, rocket, feta cheese, olives
  • Mix with the avocado sauce and stir until combined
