French Toast

At times the weather gets a bit cold and dark, it makes you want to hide under the covers and resist all needs to head outside.


This recipe is all about great comfort food which can be easily prepared quickly. It’s a sweet and heart warming contender. It’s just ideal for those days when the house is colder than usual, even with the heating on but it’s exactly what you need. We invite you to revel in our take on French Toast.


Ingredients


2 Slices of Wheat Bread or Gluten Free


2 Egg Whites


Cinnamon and Stevia to taste


Topping -


1/2 Cup Greek Yoghurt


1/3 Banana


1/2 Scoop Nutristrength Whey Protein Isolate Classic Vanilla Powder


Method 


French Toast -


1. Make a mix of egg whites, cinnamon and a packet of stevia.


2. Dip the slices of bread in the batter, coat evenly and cook.


Topping -


1. Blend together Greek Yoghurt, Banana and protein powder


2. Spoon out and use to top the French Toast. Add a few slices of banana and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Add a scoop full of vanilla ice cream on top.
