Espresso Chocolate Mousse

Need a coffee kick? This will sort you right out! Follow this Espresso Chocolate Mousse recipe to get both your caffeine kick and protein punch in one delicious dessert. Chocolate layer



  • 1 scoop Pea Protein Classic Vanilla

  • 2tbsp cacao powder

  • 1tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp agave syrup

  • 150ml almond milk


Blend until smooth and creamy.


Coffee layer



  • 50ml whipped double cream or coconut cream

  • 1 Shot espresso, Raw Bean Coffee

  • 1 tsp coconut sugar

  • 1tsp Pea Protein Vanilla

  • Gently mix together


Decorate



  • 1 tbsp crushed almonds


Instructions



  • Starting with the chocolate mousse layer, add a thick layer of coffee cream on top of the chocolate one

  • Finish with a layer of coffee cream

  • Place in the fridge for 1 hour to set

  • Finish with a tablespoon of crushed almonds on top and serve
