Peanut butter and chocolate is one of our favourite flavour combinations. Peanut butter goes particularly well with our Roasted Cocoa flavoured protein powders because it’s less sweet than regular chocolate flavoured proteins due to its natural cocoa flavouring, meaning it hits just the right balance when teamed with the slightly salty peanut butter in a recipe. This recipe is one that everyone can enjoy as it is plant based and free from gluten containing ingredients (though please check the labels as some of the below ingredients could be produced in spaces that come into contact with gluten).

Energy Balls Ingredients
1 scoop Pea Protein Roasted Cocoa
½ cup oatmeal flour
1/3 cup coconut flour
¼ cup agave syrup
¼ cup natural peanut butter
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
¼ cup cacao nibs
¼ cup plant milk
¼ cup coconut flakes, optional
Energy Balls Method
- Mix all ingredients in a food processor and process until a dough is formed.
- Roll the dough with your hands into about 12 small sized balls.
- Roll the balls into the cocoa powder until covered to the desired thickness.
- Set aside in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
