Could there be anything more festive than hot chocolate? Yes! Black Forest Hot Chocolate!
In-house chef Szabina has done it again and created an amazing festive treat with added protein for you to enjoy. If you like Black Forest Gateau, we’re sure you’ll love this take on the classic dessert.

1 big handful cherries (or frozen cherries)
1 small banana
1 scoop of Whey Protein Isolate Roasted Cocoa
5g Whey Protein Isolate Morello Cherry (optional)
1 square (10g) dark chocolate 90%
1 medjool dates
1 cup almond milk or coconut milk
50ml coconut cream
- whipped coconut cream
(Chill your full fat coconut milk in the refrigerator. Remove the coconut milk from the fridge without shaking and remove the lid. Scrape out the top, thickened cream and leave the liquid behind. Beat for 40 seconds with a mixer until creamy.)
- grated dark chocolate
Protein Hot Chocolate Method
1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into the saucepan. Start stirring with a spatula until warmed. Don't boil it!
3. Then top with whipped cream and dark chocolate to serve.
